If you follow my instagram (sambrando), a few weeks ago I picked up mini glass terrariums at Target in the Dollar section. I finally made the trip out to Terrain at Styers to purchase some succulents (found 0 at Lowes & Home Depot). I originally had 3 terrariums, but broke one right before I started to build them, so I substituted a Mason jar I got at a wedding instead (the jars were the seating assignments & were also used for your drinks all night- fun times). 15 minutes later and these were finished! Rawr!

If you know me, you know I’m into the bright and quirky, and sometimes slightly weird things. I saw somethings similar to this posted on a blog awhile back and it made me smile. All you need is some spray paint, a dinosaur toy, and an air plant!

I’m not the most patient person so this is my T-Rex soaking up some sun, trying to dry off.

Airplants, contrary to what I thought before I googled them, do actually need to be soaked in water every week or so.

Once this guy has a permanent home, I’ll throw up a pic of him in his new surroundings.
