The Real 'Philadelphia Story'

Seeing ‘The Philadelphia Story’ is on my list of things to do since every time we drive by the Hope Montgomery Scott estate in Radnor Twp- upon which the move and Audrey Hepburn’s character is based- he talks about. The Androssan estate has been in the news lately with talks of building homes on some of the land- but I was really curious about what THE home- the big house- looked like inside. After some digging I found this trove of Photos from 2012. Click the photo to view

Where to find it

Straying off the home decorating front today and moving on to neck decorating…. I saw this picture posted by an awesome blog I follow… http://www.honestlywtf.com and took a screenshot of it because I loved it so much. It said it was from JCrew but I never was able to find it on their site. Flash forward to last week when I stumbled upon a jewelry site on another blog I read and this popped up! I picked up this necklace, along with the ‘Emerald Lux’, used a coupon code I found through some googling and both were at my door for under $55 including 2 day shipping. Look just as great in person!

Old made New

My grandmothers shore house is complete with pink and green bathtubs and sinks, don’t worry- they are mixed- one is completely pink, and the other green! Some people (this one in Australia) are embracing this retro tub/sink look and updating the bathroom to complement it. Would you? I think its actually pretty cool looking……
